Let 'em Cook!
In this wacky RPG adventure game, you play as a chef named Cooka 'D' Meal. He's on a mission to protect his home town from a golem who wants to destroy it! He doesn't know any cool fighting techniques, but he does know how to cook! Use the ingredients you are given in battle to cook up some MASSIVE damage!
Arrow keys / WASD to move, Space to run, E or Z to interact, click ingredients to add them to the pan in battle!

First of all, yes there will be planning ahead, Plans for a public discord as well as being able to enter about three weeks in advance will be taken to try get this up and running. this definitley satisfies my TB RPG craving I always have for now(pun not attended), if this game gets more devloped, i can't wait for more of this delicious game (pun intended). For now, I will let you cook on it if you're still devving (pun 100% intentional)

Short, but complete RPG with impressive art that is not complicated, but accomplishes its task well.
The music and sound effects are very appropriate.
What surprised me the most is the game mechanism, where the selection of ingredients and cooking methods replaces the common type counter mechanism in RPGs.
It is very reasonable and has a high degree of completion, making people look forward to the game's continuous development after Jam.
Congratulations on making such an excellent work, it's fantastic!
A little problem.
In the latter half, you need to use the Q key to advance the dialogue, but it seems that this operation method was not explained to the player in the instructions.
oh, pressing any key after dialogue continues it, but holding q is a secret skip button!

Great but...
This by far has the best art I've seen throughout. It's fun, engaging, and is a great RPG! The characters are great, dialog is funny, and has a decent storyline. Ramsey is really difficult, but once I understood what he wanted it became very easy. Can't tell if that's good or bad. Definitely a top competitor to the other submissions. Overall, amazing game!

every sprite, dialogue, interaction, and cutscene absolutely EXUDE personality! Not only is this game fun, but it manages to be stylish as hell with simple drawings. Not to mention, this game is genuinely funny. (cooka d' meal is the best mc name i have ever heard, im ngl)
This might be my favorite entry, and I'm definitely giving this a full playthrough! I'll let you know my extra thoughts when I'm done
Edit: At first i was confused how the cooking mechanics work, but after the Gordon Ransey fight it makes more sense. Honestly, not a single complaint about your game other than that it's short. I really hope you work on this more after the jam, it could be a whole game!
